Autoclaved Aerated Concrete Blocks
Autoclaved Aerated Concrete has been utilized as a material for construction through the world for many years. This was first used during the early 1920s at the Technical college in Stockholm, Sweden. From then it has been used in the construction and building of commercial, industrial, institutional and residential structures throughout the world.

AAC Bricks is light weight building material with high insulating value which can be developed by using 60-75% Fly Ash by weight. Now in India at around 120 Million Tons of Ash per year is used. The power requirement of the country is increasing rapidly and with the increase in growth of the industrial sectors. Our country depends on Thermal Powers as it central source. This is one of the prime factors which shall lead to increased Ash Production. Out of the total ash produced in our country, Fly Ash Contributes a small percentage. The majority of the ash is being Pond Ash and Bottom Ash.
Autoclaved Aerated Concrete is a light weight, precast building material and provides structure, insulation, fire and mold resistance in a single material. AAC products include blocks, wall panels, floor and roof panels and lintels.

The Key Features of AAC are:
SmartBrix is a product of Bondad Engineering Limited. It is a light weight AAC product with high dimensional accuracy. These blocks are manufactured through world class automated processpant technology. SmartBrix can be used for speedy and economical constructions as well.
- Cost-Effective.
- Leak Proof, Earthquake Resistant and Termite Resistant.
- Thermal Insulation.
- High Strength with Low Density and High Dimensional Accuracy.
- Energy Efficient and Faster, Stronger for building construction
There is a difference between AAC and Conventional Blocks.
- AAC block is eco-friendly whereas convential red brick is not.
- AAC block is load on the structure is low which reduces the consumption of cement, steel and water. Where as using the red clay brick there’s a heavy load on the structure
- AAAC blocks have less material wastage whereas AAC blocks have less material wastage whereas conventional red clay bricks have high material wastage.
- AAAC blocks have less material wastage whereas AAC block has high thermal and sound insulating properties whereas red clay bricks have low thermal and low sound Insulation.
